Returned from the geog field trip yesterday....... Trip was fun but tiring....real tiring.........the long bus rides and measuring those meanders and slope profile would really take a toil on you..... It's not all "touristy" trip......but rather a learning trip.....hahahas
hmmmzzzz.... on this trip... u get to see another side of eric ng and david toh...... Eric ng kind of play basketball really well.....hahahas..... and he used to be in the njc basketball team.... but given his complexion.....u might have thought that he is from some AVIT or library club.....haha...and david toh is very very fluent in chinese... and he is kind of a good volleyballer.....Jaws drop......michelle foong is a very sweet teacher... she really is.... she makes it a point to remember your name and stuff.........
I learnt quite a lot of things from this trip.....yup... like limestone pillars and underground caverns and stuff.... braided streams... point bars... thalwegs....pools and riffles..... was kind of disappointed for not being able to see the fire files and also the releasing of the baby turtles....
the "resort" that we stayed in was kind of a bad one.... but i just took it in my stride as such experiences is like hard to come by especially when u live in such a highly urbanised society..... At night, i lay down on the front porch of the chalet and watch the stars.... my oh my.... it was such an awesome sight.... the whole sky is filled with stars.....it's almost unreal.....unlike in singapore....you only get to see 1 or 2 stars when u peek out f your window and that is IF you are lucky........ i spotted a few shooting stars and they are stunning............ The seaview is also spectacular down there... just awesome i tell you......... East coast is nothing compared to these.............
well... i am back in singapore now....Glad to be back home but i have to face the reality... which is to study for my A levels.... sigh......
